We are organized as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and operate exclusively for charitable purposes. The Foundation is a private non-operating foundation. The Foundation’s purpose is to improve the health and well-being of our community consistent with our Osteopathic heritage. It accomplishes this by making grants to qualified health-related nonprofit organizations that meet its mission priorities, by providing scholarships to osteopathic medical students, and collaborating with like-minded organizations to develop solutions to meet community health needs.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Director. The Board is represented equally by Osteopathic Physicians and friends of Osteopathic Medicine.
