Members of the Foundation are ambassadors for the Foundation. They network in our community on our behalf, spreading the word about our Community Grants Program focused on qualified health-related nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and our Osteopathic Medical Student Scholarship program. Members are expected to actively provide financial support for the Foundation.

There are three classifications of memberships, two of which have voting power: Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O. Members) and members other than D.O. members (Friends). The third classification of membership is Osteopathic Medical Students enrolled in a College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Members meet at least once annually to elect Board members and review any other business that may come before them.

Voting members are eligible to serve on committees and the Board; student members may serve as ex-officio members of committees.
